Questions, answered

The questions paid-search teams ask first

Personalization tools earn trust the moment they prove they won’t slow the site, go off-brand, or play games with data. Here’s where Bellhop stands — in plain terms.

Speed & safety

Will Bellhop slow my site down?

No. The runtime is a small first-party script that executes at the Cloudflare edge with zero third-party calls on the render path. It is designed for sub-150-millisecond personalization, and it fails silently — if anything goes wrong, your original page is served untouched.

What happens if Bellhop can’t match a visitor?

Nobody sees a broken or blank page. When there is no confident intent match, Bellhop falls back automatically — first to a geographic default, then to your original copy. Personalization only ever adds; it never subtracts the page you already have.

Accuracy & brand

Is the AI copy accurate, or will it hallucinate?

Every line is grounded in your own content. Bellhop retrieves facts from a knowledge base built by crawling your site, and each generated claim cites the page it came from. Fabricated citations are automatically rejected and ungrounded output is dropped — and a person on your team approves copy before it ever goes live.

How do you keep the copy on-brand?

Rewrites are grounded in your existing content and approved copy, so the voice that ships is the voice you already use. Nothing reaches a visitor without human approval, which you can set to automatic or manual per account.

How it works

How is this different from building landing pages?

You keep one page. Instead of building and maintaining a separate landing page for every campaign, Bellhop rewrites your existing page in place to match each visitor’s search intent. There is no variant sprawl and no page library to keep current.

How is intent-based personalization different from firmographic tools?

Firmographic tools segment by the company a visitor works for. Bellhop personalizes on the Google Ads search intent behind the click — the keyword, campaign and ad group — which is a far stronger signal of what this particular visitor came to do. Bellhop can also recognize the company behind a visit and factor that context in.

How does Bellhop decide which version of the copy wins?

A Thompson-sampling multi-armed bandit routes more traffic toward the variants that convert, with sticky 30-day visitor assignment so the experience stays consistent for each person. You author the variants; the bandit handles the ongoing optimization.

Privacy & platform

Do you store or sell personal data?

No. Bellhop takes a privacy-respecting posture: IP addresses are hashed, there is no fingerprinting, and company enrichment runs on a GDPR legitimate-interest basis. Personalization happens first-party at the edge, not through third-party trackers.

What platforms does Bellhop work on?

Any website. Bellhop installs with a single line of code on Webflow, WordPress, Framer, Shopify or hand-coded HTML — no migration and no rebuild.
